BOZTRO began its journey in 2018 in Sualkuchi, the legendary "Manchester of Assam." Founded with a singular vision to revitalize and elevate traditional Assamese silks—Muga, Pat, and Eri—our label was born from a desire to bring these gold-certified handlooms out of regional boundaries and onto the global luxury stage.
Under a direct-to-weaver collective ecosystem, BOZTRO has transformed Assamese bridal and celebration wear into a signature global statement. Our creations are not merely garments; they are pieces of living history, bearing intricate, hand-woven motifs that have graced the royalty of the Ahom dynasty for centuries.
By combining ancient masterweaving techniques with contemporary, tailored silhouettes, we cater to the modern citizen who carries their cultural pride in every detail. Today, BOZTRO proudly works with over 20 verified weaving houses and local cooperatives, supporting the livelihood of more than 2,000 artisan families.
